The ForgivenessWorks website is in the first phase of development and is currently being expanded on a large scale. We suggest you "bookmark" this site as a "favorite" place and revisit us bi-weekly for new additions.

The purpose of ForgivenessWorks is to be a catalyst at making forgiveness as natural and as important in our lives as breathing and eating. It is our hope that this website will serve to stimulate and empower others to take the torch of forgiveness into their hearts and lives and hopefully create forgiveness projects in their own homes, schools, organizations, businesses and other community groups.

Why Forgiveness Now_
Today, perhaps more than any time in our past, the subject of forgiveness has become highlighted in all htmlects of the media and has become a prominent area of discussion in our lives. If there was ever a time to find ways of no longer recycling our anger, of letting go of our grievances, of releasing the painful past, it is truly now.

There is a great thirst to understand at both a cognitive as well as emotional level the dynamics of what it truly means to forgive and to be forgiven. There is a hunger to get to know how to get rid of the blocks that often makes forgiving seem so difficult or even impossible for us to do, and to rid ourselves of the emotional and physical trauma that not forgiving causes us.

There is another way of looking at the world where we can choose whether we want to experience peace or conflict, to experience love or fear. We can choose how we perceive ourselves, others, and the world around us. It is these choices, and the willingness and the courage to forgive, that offer us the greatest gift we can give not only to others, but to ourselves.
